An easy-to-read guide to the Manual of the church of the Nazarene

The Church has an official book called The Manual of the Church of the Nazarene, but we usually just call it “the Manual.” It is a legal document, and many people find it difficult to read and understand, even some who speak English as their first language. This small book is an easy-to-read summary of the main points of the Manual, focusing on the parts that relate to the local church and district activities. It will show you what we Nazarenes believe, how we govern ourselves, and what our purpose is.

What is a StudyMap?

It is a simple tool for studying and learning. It is a visual aid that does not realy heavily on someone's ability to read. Instead the placement of graphics elements, sometimes with text, strengthens the learning process.

Why pictures?

Many people recognize that pictures can be an efficient help for study. Pictures are considered to be a good tool for teaching illiterate people, whether illiterate adult people or young children.
